DESCRIPTION:This event is hosted by Flare Events in partnership with Devil May Care Brewing. \nCalling all straight singles ages 27-36! \nEarly bird tickets available in limited quantities until August 14th\, 2024!\n\nSpeed Dating Events in Winnipeg!\nHere’s what you can expect at our singles events in Winnipeg: After purchasing your event ticket\, you’ll receive a confirmation email from our team once it’s processed. Keep an eye on your inbox! On the day of the event\, prepare your best outfit and some conversation starters (remember\, first impressions are important). Arrive at the venue 15 minutes before the event starts\, and our host will check you in and provide you with a scorecard upon arrival. You’re encouraged to take the first part of the event to relax\, mingle with other guests\, and even enjoy a drink at the bar if you’d like (a bit of liquid confidence or a refreshing beverage never hurts).\n\nSo…how does speed dating work?\nOnce everyone is in attendance and settled\, we like to start our Winnipeg speed dating events with a little icebreaker game to warm everyone up. Perhaps a bit of trivia or a game of “two truths and a lie”? It’s important to us that no two events are alike\, and our team constantly tries new games and icebreakers at every event.\n\nAfter the icebreakers are finished\, let’s begin the speed dating! You’ll be seated in front of a potential match with 8 minutes to get to know each other. Feel free to talk about whatever you like\, but we always recommend keeping it lighthearted and professional (don’t do anything we wouldn’t do). Once the time is up\, the ladies remain seated while the gentlemen move down a spot and take a seat at the table of their next potential match.\n\nRemember to take a moment at the start of each date to write down your date’s name\, and at the end\, mark whether you felt it was a good match or not. Once you’ve spoken to everyone\, that’s it — great job! Make sure your scorecard is filled out correctly\, hand it back to our host\, and leave the rest to us.\n\nHowever\, just because the event is over doesn’t mean your night has to end! Feel free to stay for a drink (or two). Relax\, chat further with some of the other participants from our speed dating event. Within 48 hours\, you will hear back from us via email with exciting news about your potential matches from our speed dating event.\n\nWhy choose a Winnipeg dating event with Flare?\nWell\, for starters\, we obsess over our dating events and aim to provide unique one-night experiences.
